Dressmaker sewing tips and sabotage
I read Rebecca Corgan's Polygon piece from 30 September 2026 instead of inventing a sabotage route. The Steam page itself uses the word sabotage. Two search phrases, spark and turn the gear, still have no source I trust, so they stay unmarked.
The sewing scene follows the seam. The official Steam screenshot labels Space as Sew, A/D as Rotate, and W/S as Change Speed. Build 410 lets you click a spool to change thread colour. A community achievement guide recommends sewing assist and says it does not penalize quality; that is player advice, not a formula. The same guide mentions Shift for repeated accessory placement.

Sabotage, as Polygon reported it
- Cheaper cloth, or cutting against the grain on purpose.
- Swapping the requested trim.
- A cardboard lining for the librarian, a rainbow pom on mourning crepe, organza for a farm smock.
- A flatly wrong colour is returned for a redo. You do not get to skip the brief entirely.
Corgan says the three match points are fabric preference, the colour card, and trim style. Hitting all three on time raises reputation. I am attributing that paragraph to Polygon, not to a personal playtest.

Questions people ask
How do you sabotage a customer?
Polygon's examples are mean cloth, bad grain, and the wrong trim, while the colour card still has to be legal or the dress bounces back.
What is the spark or the gear?
Unconfirmed on 1 October 2026. I am not assigning those words to a button.
