Who operates dressmaker.run

The site operator is the editor of dressmaker.run. The public address is [email protected]. The site explains the game, links to stores, and does not sell keys or host installers.

Who made the game

Steam names the developer as Cozy Lives and the publisher as Free Lives. The August post says three full-time people: Jonathan Hau-Yoon (original game, art, code, social), Ruan Rothmann (lead code, works on Linux, wants saves with bug reports), and Sara Laubscher (most dress parts, fabrics, and accessories). Sabrina Becker designs and curates the parts and turns the mood into tag scores. Also named: Jay on tactile audio, Luc on some character art, Ben on earlier key art, Nanna producing, Jean-Luc testing, Hyphen on community, Jess and Kesh on marketing. Outside the studio: Kerstin on story and dialogue, Meydän on music, Carolina Carolemellow on the latest key art.

Free Lives is the South African studio behind Broforce and GORN, as Polygon has noted. The game runs on Unity, according to Wikipedia's article. The studio site blocked an automated fetch, so I am not summarizing freelives.net.

Generative AI

On 7 September 2026 the price post answered ads, data harvesting, and generative AI with "We don't do that." Here Cozy Lives means the developer named on Steam app 4019220, not an unrelated business with a similar name.
