Dressmaker on Nintendo Switch

I read the 21 September 2026 Out Now post on Steam and then the Nintendo Everything piece from 22 September. Both say a Switch port is wanted and planned. Neither gives a month.

The launch announcement says the team plans mobile and Switch ports because people kept asking on social media. In the same note they say the game already runs quickly on Steam Deck, and they want proper controller support before treating handheld play as finished. I am not turning that into a Switch release date.

What is not published

• No eShop listing was available on 1 October 2026.
• No price for a Switch edition.
• No statement that the port is a cloud version or a native build.
• No year. Third-party guesses about 2027 are not repeated here.

Until a store page exists, the game you can buy is the Steam edition for Windows and macOS. The Steam Deck rating is the closest official handheld note.

Source: Nintendo Everything, 22 September 2026. Confirms the plan and the lack of a date. The studio's own wording is the 21 September Steam announcement.
